How do I file my claims?

I don’t want to mess with my insurance while I’m trying to figure out my issues.

Do you accept my insurance?

The office staff at Take Charge, Inc. will take care of all your insurance issues. We will call your insurance company, determine coverage and file your claims.

Most insurance carriers provide out-of-network benefits for their subscribers.

The fee schedules are different for every insurance carrier. However, most of our clients receive up to 50% reimbursements of their counseling fees, even though Terri is an out-of-network provider.

By filing claims electronically, benefit reimbursements are received quickly.

We file your claims electronically every week. This typically means clients are reimbursed much quicker than when filing paper claims. After the initial visit is processed through your insurance company, reimbursements can come as quickly as 2 weeks from the session visit.

Sometimes it just takes a phone call.

While most practices are moving away from dealing with insurance companies, our staff will continually monitor your insurance and benefits to ensure you are receiving the maximum benefit. When Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) are received, they are reviewed and posted to your file. If, for any reason, a claim is denied, we will call your insurance company and investigate why the claim was denied. Sometimes it just takes one phone call to have a claim resubmitted and paid!
